Founder and Creative Director
I'm a journalist-turned-Creative Director. I lead Graves Creative, a multi-disciplinary creative studio.
At Graves Creative, we tell stories through photo, video, words, web, and graphics — for magazines, brands, and around physical places.
We build and manage streamlined teams of elite creative talent around brands.
We want to help clients solve creative and marketing challenges around social media, web and graphic design, content production, high-level brand strategy, and placemaking.
My background as a writer informs everything we do. From my 2008 start as a lifestyle blogger, my work went on to be published in Vogue, Eater, AFAR, Food & Wine, Town & Country, Vanity Fair, Domino, Complex, and Southern Living, among others.
I continue to contribute to many of the same publications, and also publish a Substack newsletter called The Love List.
Over the years, my work as a storyteller helped me hone a broader skillset, innovating first as the Creative Director of Shops Around Lenox, and then as the Director of Marketing for the city’s iconic Ponce City Market development.
I opened our studio in 2018.
Caroline has been a full-time photographer since 2008. When she's not taking photos, drinking Negronis, or wrangling her two daughters, she's studio managing for Graves Creative.
Natalie works as a graphic and creative designer. She is passionate about intentional, impactful design. Originally from the sunny state of Florida, she enjoys spending time with her miniature dachshund, Alfred, and late-afternoon walks around the park.
